Ecothrive Charge is a 100% naturally-produced soil enhancer composed entirely from the droppings of beetles. How it works
Charge boosts the fertility of your potting mix by adding a balanced supply of primary nutrients and a rich diversity of beneficial biology. It promotes healthy microbial activity in the root zone, improving nutrient availability and supporting strong, resilient plant growth throughout the growing cycle.
How to use
Potting soil / compost — mix in at planting
• Cuttings, seedlings or low feeding: 5ml per litre of soil
• Established plants or high feeding: 10ml per litre of soil
1L of Charge treats 100–200L of potting soil.
Coco coir — mix in at planting
• Cuttings, seedlings or low feeding: 10ml per litre of coco
• Established plants or high feeding: 20ml per litre of coco
1L of Charge treats 50–100L of coco.
Container plants — top dressing
• Add 2–4ml per litre of potting mix (20–40ml per 10L pot)
• Water in well immediately after applying
• Repeat every four weeks
Container plants — watering in
• Add 10–20ml per litre of water, stir for one minute, water until run-off
• Repeat every two to four weeks
• Use rain water, filtered water or leave tap water to stand overnight
Outdoor soil — at planting or sowing
• Add 50–100g per m² and lightly fork into the top 10cm of soil
• Follow up with a top dressing four to six weeks later
Outdoor soil — established crops top dressing
• Apply 25–50g per m², sprinkle around the base of the plant and water in well
• Repeat every four weeks during active growth
Foliar application
• Add 1–2g per litre of water, stir for one minute, leave to stand 15 minutes, strain and apply within 24 hours
• Repeat every one to two weeks
Compost tea supplement
• Add 1–2g per litre of brewing water at the start of the cycle with your usual compost and microbial stimulants
• Increases microbial biomass and diversity in the finished tea
