Evoponic BBC1 Beneficial Bacterial Culture ONE is a highly concentrated multi-strain microbial inoculant containing 20 million colony-forming units (CFU) per gram. Developed from a screening of over 3,000 bacterial strains, the selected combination is specifically chosen to work cooperatively — not in competition — to create a healthy, biologically active root zone environment. BBC1 contains endophytic bacteria that are absorbed by the plant and fix atmospheric nitrogen from within the plant’s interstitial cell spaces, alongside specialised strains that enhance phosphorus and potassium availability during key growth stages.
Key Benefits
- 20 million CFU per gram – highly concentrated multi-strain formula
- Endophytic bacteria fix atmospheric nitrogen from within the plant
- Enhances phosphorus and potassium availability, uptake, and metabolism
- Produces a protective biofilm on plant roots as a physical barrier against pathogens
- Out-competes non-beneficial native microbial strains
- Inhibits fungal pathogens including Fusarium, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Phytophthora, Sclerotinia, and Sclerotium
- Competes against phytotoxic bacteria and fungi
- Supports auxin hormone production for improved growth regulation
- Improves metabolite production and carbon-to-nitrogen ratios
- Induces systemic resistance to reduce foliar disease pressure
- Regenerates and revitalises low-fertility soils and substrates
Ideal For
Organic and conventional growers looking to build a biologically active, pathogen-resistant root zone. Suitable for soil, coco, and other solid growing media. Works as part of a broader beneficial biology programme alongside other microbial inoculants and organic nutrients.
