TrolMaster Hydro-X AC Remote Control Station (ARS-1)

The TrolMaster ARS-1 AC Remote Control Station offers universal remote control for any IR (infrared) remote-controlled air conditioner, such as a mini-split AC system. By connecting to the Hydro-X Control System, the ARS-1 learns and controls any remote-controlled air conditioner easily and automatically — eliminating the need for separate day and night temperature settings on your mini-split.

The ARS-1 works with most mini-split air conditioners. The controller learns the IR signals from your existing AC remote, then sends those same signals to the indoor mini-split head unit — automatically changing the setpoint to your desired Day or Night temperature based on the photocell sensor status.

Instructions for Use

1. Connect the ARS-1 to your Hydro-X controller using the RJ12 cable.
2. Point your existing AC remote at the ARS-1 signal emitter and teach it the IR codes.
3. Position the signal emitter towards your mini-split indoor head unit.
4. Set your desired Day/Night temperature setpoints within the Hydro-X interface.
5. The ARS-1 will automatically send the correct signals based on photocell Day/Night status.
